Back when there were no beauty blogs, YouTube channels or classes, makeup was something you left to professional artists to get done right. Growing up, I had limited access to knowledge about which tools and products to use, the right look for day, night, events or shoots. DIY makeup often resulted in wearing the wrong shade of foundation, having on too much blush or enough lipstick to make a clown jealous. And then I started working in fashion, where exposure to the most talented makeup artists in the industry plus work-related research has helped me know more about makeup.

(Thanks to Japanese Candy for the contact lenses!) I’ve hesitated all this time to do tutorials since I’m by no means an expert—until one reader emailed, “I’m asking you specifically because it’s your personal makeup technique I’m interested in, I can’t learn that elsewhere.” Hence this tutorial series! Sarili kong kapamilya, inis na inis saken. Hello!!! Mana-mana lang >:D And yes, iniinis ko talaga kayo. Wala eh, wala nang pag-asa magbago ang tingin niyo saken. So, ipagpapatuloy ko na lang. Grabe. Samantalang ibang pamilya, tuwang-tuwa saken. Habang kayo, sinasaksak ako habang nakatalikod. I don’t deserve that. Dahil wala akong ginagawang masama sa inyo. At kung naiinggit kasi kayo, pwes hindi ko na kasalanan yun. Get a life. Masaya ako kung anong meron ako. Mamatay kayo sa inggit. 

SOLVE!

Alam ko sa sarili ko na hindi pa sapat ang mga nalalaman ko, at pinag-aralan ko. Kaya tanggap ko sa sarili ko na hindi ako makakagraduate. Hindi naman sa bobo ako, mahirap lang talaga. Hindi porke’t naka 75% ka na sa grade mo eh, pasado ka na. Ako, kailangan ko ng 84% para makapasa sa bawat major subjects ko. 

Bakit ganun, ako tanggap ko. Pero yung pagagraduatin niyo yung mga walang alam, at kunyari lang may alam? SRSLY? Yung kilala niyo lang pinapansin niyo eh.. Yung pinagraduate niyo, nangongopya, nagtatanong, at nagpapatulong sa boyfriend ko. Tapos siya hindi makaka-graduate? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
